About LXphat, born 1977 in Munster, raised in NRW countryside, studied in germany, in Switzerland and in england. As a Kid, Teen and until my mid-end twenties, i used to skateboard, Snowboard, play basketball, tennis and golf. a bit of kickboxing and other martial arts, i studied cities and the streets, these days gfs, my dogs and demons. i became a fashion salesman After highschool and i spent each cent that i earned on skateboards, shoes, fashion or Hiphop, Rap and ReggAe Vinyl, so i build up quite a Record collection, Most boards are broken, as fashion and shoes are. After my time in the German Army, i build up a my own business, from bonsai to web design to 3D arts „Game Development“. I always liked arts, photography, sculptures, Carvings And Modern arts, 3D, graffiti, anime, Manga, Bonsai, suiseki but ofc also old arts. Around 2005 a friend reinspired me to bonsai, i always liked Nature, design, Form, medieval, Samurai, Geisha, ninja and japanese culture. i enjoyed to play „Japanese“ Martial art games, but i would not have expected to develop such passion for old japan, as i did. Over The last decade i started to collect Japanese art and antiques with the Focus on original Japanese, Samurai and ninja themed „Bushi“ items, especially in the category of Metalworks, carvings, paintings and all what is just epic, cool or beautiful and skillful fine art. I must say the culture and even a bit of the spiritual way of japan got me deep and i honor the old values, morals and samurai rules. we should share more and so i will share with them people who are interested and avid about my interests and passions. that for i build this Site about Me, my Life, my People, Passions, collections, Interests, My Thoughts and my boxers. after nearly 30 years in Germany „incl the german winter“, i finally moved to spain, so we can have a sunny, active and enjoyable winter. I like Takeshi Kitano, Quentin Tarantino, Martial art, funny and gangster movies but sometimes also some sad and deep Movies … If i like some brutal and crazy movies; yes i do, but i dont like ugly brutal movies, like saw 2,3,4 „first part ok, the idea, done“. Then i would surly prefer to watch smth like Ravenous - You are who you eat, The Homesman, True Grit, zatoichi, 3:10 to yuma … Movies that i like are for example: Kenshin, Avatar, Afro Samurai, 4 rooms, Funny Games, District 9, cheech and chong, The Hateful 8, Ghost Dog, Fight club, some good Wild west, martial art movies or Bear Grylls, survival, chilled And cool stuff … Series: Game of Thrones, Walking dead, vinyl, Ray Donovan, stargate, and many other good once, like Invader Zim or cow and chicken… Games: Battle field, Counter strike, Mass effect, Total War, Dota, GTA, Worms, Payday, survival games and many more … Books: Book of the five rings, Bushido, Hagakure, Perfume: The Story of a Murderer, One Robe, One Bowl, Stephen King, Erwin Moser … People: Master Ryokan, Douglas Tompkins, nelson Mandela, sun tzu, Mohandas Gandhi, Miyamoto Musashi … Artists: Salvador Dali, M.C.
